By Bobi Wine    We are very delighted to reconnect with all our comrades who have been released today from illegal detention. After six months of torture, imprisonment and humiliation, the General Court Martial today released 18 of those they were still holding- prominent amongst them Nubian Li, Eddie Mutwe, Dan Magic, Kampala Lookman, Bobi Young, Kivumbi Achleo, and others. Their release on bail was hinged on very tough conditions, including an order for them not to go beyond Kampala and Wakiso without the court's permission. We are very grateful to all Ugandans- home and abroad who have raised their voices demanding for these comrades' release. I thank the religious leaders, traditional leaders, political leaders and all ordinary citizens who have done everything to demand for the release of these people. We must now not relent but continue to struggle until all the hundreds of our people are freed unconditionally. We must not relent until Gen. Museveni's criminal regime ...

President Museveni It is really bankrupt to kill people. If I had killed Besigye, he would now be a hero in people's minds. They would be saying that 'Oh Besigye would have done a big thing but he was killed'. That's how Jesus became a hero. If those Romans had not killed Jesus, I don't know what would have happened

By Bobi Wine  STATEMENT ABOUT THE RETURN OF MOTOR VEHICLE REG. NO. UBJ 667F Yesterday, I received a phone call from one of our lawyers Anthony Wameli who informed me that he had received a call from a Commissioner at URA requesting us to pick the bulletproof vehicle which was impounded by URA more than two months ago. Like we repeatedly said to the nation, there was no legal basis whatsoever for URA to impound the vehicle in the first place! This is a car which was fully inspected by URA, Interpol and the police forensics department before the tax was assessed and levied. We accordingly paid the tax in full, and a Ugandan number plate was issued. The story changed when it was discovered that the car belonged to me. URA immediately moved to impound the vehicle claiming that their initial assessment had been wrong. They would then impose a new exorbitant tax of 337 million shillings! These past weeks, our legal team embarked on the process of challenging the tax before the Tax ...

By admin Hon Mubiru James -LubagaNorth ambassador People Power Bullet Proof Vehicle Released, instead of citing the law,URA Quotes orders from above. Sad that Ugandans suffer because of orders. This vehicle had initially been legally cleared but URA Confiscated it on orders from the same individual now releasing it. Injustice has its climax

By David Lewis Rubongoya  We got to the General Court Martial early this morning but were not allowed to access the court. There were conflicting reports on whether or not our comrades would be brought to court. We waited for several hours as the court dealt with other cases. We were later informed that our comrades have not been brought! The cost of standing up against a dictatorship sometimes goes fever-high. The sight of relatives traveling from all over the country to come to Makindye and leave in disappointment is very depressing. Yet under all these circumstances, we soldier on.
Look at how people are fighting to get onto the bus and leave Kampala before the expiry of the three days they were given. Are there any SOPs followed here? How safe are the villages they are going to? Meanwhile the fare has skyrocketed up to shs. 150,000 for a trip which normally take shs. 50k.
Bobi Wine’s bullet proof car released on orders of President Museveni. It is clear after the attempted assasin on Gen Katumba Wamala, government realised there could be a more dangerous public uproar could Bobi Wine get an such a problem. To beef up his security at his cost, his car had to be released unconditionally.

Today, our comrades who are still locked up at Kitalya were supposed to appear in the military court for a ruling on their bail application. These are people who have been locked up at Kitalya for six months for no crime whatsoever. We understand that prison authorities received orders from "above" to return the comrades to prison just as they were about to travel to Court! They seem to be using the excuse of COVID even when the court has proceeded to listen to other cases. A few minutes ago, three "drones" full of suspects just entered the premises of the military court for plea taking! We suspect most of these are our comrades who have been held incommunicado for several weeks, and they will soon be remanded without any chance of getting legal representation. Gen. Museveni is doing all this to break our spirits, and to force us to talk to him! But this is reason for us to struggle on until we all have a say in our country.
